How to make sure your pet is comfy at home

We all know our pets favourite place is inside the house, close to their amazing owners.

Whether your pet is always inside or only gets to enter when you are home, it is important that their space is home to them and they are warm, comfy and happy!

To make sure the living room is set up for your pet to enjoy you can: 

Give them plenty of toys to enjoy

Whether it is squeaky, fluffy, comfy or just annoying - our pets love their toys! 

Grab your pets favourite indoor toys and a small container or box to leave near their sleeping area in the living room. This will mean that when you cannot give them your undivided attention and they need to play, they can try and entertain themselves easily! 

Always have water available 

It is never recommended to never leave your dog without access to water, but it is also great practice to have this available for your pets when you are home as well! There are many ways your pet can lose hydration and this can happen quickly so it is best to always have a water source available. 

Stick a water bowl somewhere in the kitchen or living room, preferably on tiles, to make sure that your pet has water available at any time. 

Make sure they have a blanket or a comfy bed 

Our pets sleep lots! Did you know that most dogs spend 50% of their day sleeping and more than 40% of cats spend around 18 hours a day sleeping!
